Escape, relax and enjoy the beautiful North Georgia Mountains when you stay at the High-Bear-Nation cabin. Whether it is a weekend, holiday or that special occasion there is no better place to getaway from all the “hustle and bustle” of your daily life than this cabin. High-Bear-Nation is a one of a kind mountain retreat with an endless view of our beautiful mountains.

High-Bear-Nation is a 3-bedroom cabin with all queen size beds. The main level has a living room, dining room, kitchen with a bedroom, bath and satellite TV. High-Bear-Nation's living room has a wood-burning fireplace and satellite with a flat screen TV. The dining room is roomy enough for that get together with family and friends. Just outside from the living room is a covered porch with a swing. Just to the right of the door going outside is a wonderful covered deck with a picnic table and tons of room for a family get together. This deck also has an outside wood burning fireplace and the most wonderful view that you will find anywhere of our beautiful mountains.

The upstairs bedroom also has satellite TV and a covered porch with a table and two chairs. Enjoy your early morning coffee on this porch and talk over what you plan for the day’s activities or just sip away and make plans to stay at the cabin and relax. This bedroom also has a nice large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub.

The lower level of the cabin has another bedroom with a queen and French doors that open onto a covered deck. This level also has a room with a pool table, a bathroom and a room with a wide screen TV/DVD/Satellite and foosball table. Just outside of the pool table room is the second covered deck. This deck has a gas log fireplace and a hot tub. Take a soak in the hot tub after a day of horseback riding or hiking. If relaxing is all you want to do then soak your worries away in the hot tub and enjoy the view!

The fall is a great time to visit as we have tons of festivals in Oct. You might want to pick up a special keepsake from one of our many local craftsmen or perhaps a painting to remind you of your special visit to our mountains. The fall is also a wonderful time to let Mother Nature display all her colors from the brightest gold to the deepest reds as the mountains prepare to rest for the winter.

Don’t forget to take a stroll down the main street of Blue Ridge as we have many unique shops and places to pick up a bite to eat! Stop in at Merciers Orchard and pick up a few jars of jams or jellies and don’t miss the many bakery items.
